Hello and welcome to the blog

Hey and welcome to my first update! I feel like this is a good time to get everyone up to speed with what’s going on with the project and everything else I’ve been up to lately.

I left Patreon. I had to. I had some issues with the site, I didn’t love the layout and I felt like I had been neglecting my own website, a place I always wanted to grow, more so than any other social media or subscription site I’ve signed up to. My Patreon is still up for now, but I’ll probably delete all the links and then close it down.

Now, about this blog, it’s my online creative journal documenting the development and world-building of my graphic novel *//Above and Below. I'm currently in the pre-production stage and this blog will document not just the development of this story but also my art practice. I really, really want to get back into traditional art and learn techniques that I feel, will help me with my digital art process.

I’ll be practicing with acrylic gouache, ink, pencils {original bae}, watercolour? and maybe even oil paint.
